Grey phalarope, pectoral sandpiper, dunlin, red-throated diver and reindeer in Svalbard

As I was photographing these phalaropes, right behind me a reindeer.

Also here in Adventdalen in Svalbard this lost bird, far away from its usual place, possibly Alaska. It must have been blown away by the wind. I saw it here flying its typical mating flight with his throat expanded. Sadly enough there were no females.

Here another sandpiper; a dunlin who did find a female to mate with.
